Hi, I’m Cassi!

I am first, a mother. And second, a midwife. And both make up the very essence of who I am as a woman.

Midwifery is as in my bones as mothering is.

My journey into midwifery grew out of my own experiences as a mother—witnessing the power, beauty, and challenges of birth firsthand planted the seed for what has become my lifelong service to the world: supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with care that is intentional, connected, intuitive, and rooted in trust. It is through some of my most challenging times as a mother that I have learned how important this work is.

  • In 2013 I completed requirements and and became a Certified Labor Doula.

  • In 2017 I started my midwifery training, learning underfoot a CPM with an extensive background in emergency birth scenarios, breech, VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) and twin birth.

  • In 2018 I enrolled in midwifery school and pursued my Bachelors of Science in Midwifery Degree at Midwives College of Utah.

  • In 2019 I worked as a midwifery assistant in a high volume home birth practice based out of Springfield.

  • In 2022, after Covid, I worked as a midwifery assistant at Loehr Family Birth & Wellness.

  • In 2023 I completed a hands on in person training in vaginal breech birth through Breech Without Borders.

  • In 2025 I took the national midwifery board exam offered by NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) and received my CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) credential.

  • I have advanced training in Spinning Babies®, Breech Without Borders, BEST, and Trauma-Informed Care, and I maintain current certifications in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation.

  • I remain current in certifications and attend annual training continuing my education with Breech Without Borders, VBAC, Twins, Trauma-Informed Care, NRP, CPR, and evidenced-based practice guidelines.

I completed eight years of midwifery training while raising my children, dedicating myself to learning every aspect of holistic, out-of-hospital, personalized midwifery care.

Throughout my training, I gained extensive experience in low-risk home births, women’s health, postpartum care, and fertility counseling, giving me the tools to provide safe, personalized, and empowering support to each family I serve. I trained in a high-volume birth center under the guidance of both Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), which offered me a wide lens into different approaches to care. My unique experiences as a training midwife have strengthened both my clinical skills and my trust in the physiological process of birth.

My faith guides my work, and I see it as both a calling and a privilege to walk alongside women during one of life’s most transformative experiences.

My approach is grounded in respect, safety, and empowerment, ensuring that your choices are honored and your voice is heard.

At Evren Midwifery, I see birth as a transformative and sacred process. I trust the physiology of birth.

It is my joy and calling to create a space where women feel supported, confident, listened to, seen, and fully embraced in their journey—from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond.

Assistant Midwife

Emily Jarrell, Midwife

Hi, I’m Emily!

Midwifery was planted in my heart in my first semester of nursing school, and was gently watered by a few sweet midwife friends over the next few years. I graduated with my BSN and worked in the NICU and an integrative health clinic for several years before diving fully into birth work. While getting my Masters at Frontier Nursing University, I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible group of women as a birth doula (@bloomandgrowbirthcollective) ✨ I graduated as a Certified Nurse Midwife this spring, and have been able to gain experience in both the hospital and at home.

Each of these roles profoundly shaped who I am as a midwife today, and what I believe to be true about birth. I believe that pregnancy and birth is a continual surrender, a beautiful unraveling while at the same time a new becoming. I believe it is holy, sacred, intelligently designed.

It is nothing short of a loving kindness for God to cross mine and Cassi’s paths the way He did several years ago, only to bring me to work alongside her and serve with her. It is my hope to be a safe and trusting space for every family to be held, supported, and empowered 🤎

    •    In 2022, I graduated with my BSN and spent the next two years working in a level III NICU, as well as some time as an RN at an integrative health clinic.

    •    In 2024, I began my Masters in Science of Nursing/Community Midwifery at Frontier Nursing University

    •    In fall of 2024 I became a certified birth doula with certifications in VBAC, TENS unit use, Trauma Informed Care, and Spinning Babies

    •    I graduated from my MSN program as a APRN in June of 2026

    •    I took and passed my AMCB board exam to officially become a Certified Nurse Midwife later in June of 2026

    •    I maintain current certification in BLS/CPR and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
