Meet the Midwife
Hi, I’m Cassi.
I am first, a mother. And second, a midwife. And both make up the very essence of who I am as a woman.
Midwifery is as in my bones as mothering is.
My journey into midwifery grew out of my own experiences as a mother—witnessing the power, beauty, and challenges of birth firsthand planted the seed for what has become my lifelong service to the world: supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with care that is intentional, connected, intuitive, and rooted in trust. It is through some of my most challenging times as a mother that I have learned how important this work is.
In 2013 I completed requirements and and became a Certified Labor Doula.
In 2017 I started my midwifery training, learning underfoot a CPM with an extensive background in emergency birth scenarios, breech, VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) and twin birth.
In 2018 I enrolled in midwifery school and pursued my Bachelors of Science in Midwifery Degree at Midwives College of Utah.
In 2019 I worked as a midwifery assistant in a high volume home birth practice based out of Springfield.
In 2022, after Covid, I worked as a midwifery assistant at Loehr Family Birth & Wellness.
In 2023 I completed a hands on in person training in vaginal breech birth through Breech Without Borders.
In 2025 I took the national midwifery board exam offered by NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) and received my CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) credential.
I have advanced training in Spinning Babies®, Breech Without Borders, BEST, and Trauma-Informed Care, and I maintain current certifications in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation.
I completed eight years of midwifery training while raising my children, dedicating myself to learning every aspect of holistic, out-of-hospital care.
Throughout my training, I gained extensive experience in low-risk home births, women’s health, postpartum care, and fertility counseling, giving me the tools to provide safe, personalized, and empowering support to each family I serve. I trained in a high-volume birth center under the guidance of both Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), which offered me a wide lens into different approaches to care. My unique experiences as a training midwife have strengthened both my clinical skills and my trust in the physiological process of birth.
My faith guides my work, and I see it as both a calling and a privilege to walk alongside women during one of life’s most transformative experiences.
My approach is grounded in respect, safety, and empowerment, ensuring that your choices are honored and your voice is heard.
At Evren Midwifery, I see birth as a transformative and sacred process. I trust the physiology of birth.
It is my joy and calling to create a space where women feel supported, confident, listened to, seen, and fully embraced in their journey—from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond.
